Hello, I'm Dhanu
👩‍💻 a Computing grad passionate about using tech, data, and design to solve real-world problems and make a meaningful impact.
About Me
Hi! I'm Dhanushree Somaiah, a recent MSc Computing graduate from Cardiff University with a background in Psychology. I’m passionate about building tech that solves real-world problems—especially at the intersection of data, healthcare, and user experience.
My recent dissertation involved building an NLP model to pull insights from clinical notes for schizophrenia research, which combined my interests in mental health and AI. I’ve also run coding workshops for school kids, built full-stack apps (yes, including my own portfolio), and explored game design as part of a wellbeing project.
Right now, I’m looking for entry-level roles where I can grow as a developer, keep learning, and work on projects that actually matter. If that sounds like something your team values—I’d love to chat!
